Never Too Old to Tap Into Better Health!

Posted in Case Studies on July 21st, 2010 by Roger Callahan – Be the first to comment

I am a 75 year old Catholic nun and I have a heart problem, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension and fast heart rate and a stroke. I could not walk without a walker or a cane and I am always tired and have no energy. I have no quality of life and I frequently get depressed that I cannot do anything. My doctor told me that I am a challenge to medicine. I have tried all kinds of medications for my problems but I could not tolerate most. I am just getting weaker and weaker.

My doctor called my attention to the book “Tapping the Healer Within.” by Dr. Roger Callahan. I went to buy it and starting reading. When I finished I felt that this is something that could help my problems. I called the TFT office and inquired more about Dr. Callahan. I was told that Dr. and Mrs. Callahan were in London. The secretary e-mailed Mrs. Callahan about my problems. I was touched by Mrs. Callahan’s response from London telling me to call her on her return from Europe. I had the privilege to talk to her and she said she would try to find someone nearby that could assist me.

I called her back to see if she found someone and she highly recommended Mrs. Christina Mayhew Dx, an advance coach of TFT. I connected with Christina and without delay she sent me the Thought Field Therapy Client Intake Sheet.

On June 15 she went through the lists to check my sensitivities to all the items going in and on my body, food, laundry detergent and other things. I followed her instructions religiously. She guided me on the treatment for toxin the next day. Then to my surprise, after two days I was able to walk slowly to receive Holy Communion without any help, which I could not do before. So I am very grateful to TFT.

Every two weeks, I have my blood test for Coumadin. I would bleed after the removal of the needle for several minutes. This time there was no prolonged bleeding and they were surprised. My blood pressure and pulse rate are also normal now.

My coach has more work to do with me checking the toxin. She is very good and I am very grateful for the present improvements. For me personally, I strongly feel that TFT is the answer to my challenges in my present condition. As I said we still have more to do but I am very optimistic that TFT will restore my quality of life in the near future.

So I want to thank Dr. & Mrs. Callahan for providing us a wonderful and effective harmless tool for a better life. May God bless them and my coach, Christina Mayhew for this wonderful God given gifts.

With grateful love and prayers,
Sr. Mercy, O.C.D.

Thought Field Therapy Tapping Featured In the Daily Mail

Posted in Thought Field Therapy on July 12th, 2010 by Joanne Callahan – Be the first to comment

Janet Thomson is a TFT diagnostic level practitioner and an algorithm level trainer. She has been in the media and nutrition and fitness industries for many years and has authored several books in that arena. She is a very vibrant and energetic speaker and trainer.

She does an excellent job of creating media awareness for her work and TFT and we’re pleased that she always gives recognition to Roger.

Janet was recently interviewed by the Daily Mail in the UK… in it she tells her story of How to Tap into Happiness.

When businesswoman Janet Thomson walked away from her marriage after 25 years, she was wracked with guilt. But she was able to free herself from the past with an extraordinarily simple technique – tapping.

Driving past the beautiful home where I had raised my children, I expected to be overwhelmed with emotion. There was so much to remember: My boys running endless races on the lawn.

My daughter wheeling her dolls pram up and down the drive. The summer parties. The birthdays and Christmas celebrations.

The list was endless and every memory was a reminder of what I had lost.

My home, with its six bedrooms, its pool room and breathtaking conservatory, now belonged to strangers. I had been forced to sell it after a painful divorce.

But while I could remember every detail of my former life, I was amazed to discover that I didn’t feel even the faintest flicker of emotion. Every bad feeling had evaporated.

I could look back on my old life and all the trauma of my divorce without a single tear. In fact, the only thing I felt was immense relief to know I had ‘cured’ myself of heartache.

I’d managed this not by months of soul searching and expensive therapy, but by the simplest means imaginable. I literally tapped my emotions away.

I’m no fool – I’m a successful businesswoman with a masters degree.

But I am utterly convinced that, while it may sound absurdly simple, Thought Field Therapy (TFT) is an extraordinarily powerful tool.

Tapping various parts of your body while concentrating on the event that’s troubling you, you eliminate the effect of those memories.

When you have a trauma, you hold a memory of that trauma in your body in the form of a code that your body uses to re-assess the negative feelings. These codes are stored in your meridian systems – the pathways through which the body flows energy and which are used in acupuncture.

Here, Janet, 48, from Leicestershire, explains…

Roger Callahan Receives the ACEP Lifetime Achievement Award

ACEP Lifetime Achievement Award

Joanne Callahan and Roger Callahan ACEP Lifetime Achievement AwardIt was truly an honor to be recognized by colleagues from around the world, for my thirty years of building Thought Field Therapy (TFT).   There was so much excitement and warmth from so many of the over 500 people attending the annual ACEP conference.

People came up to me throughout the four days telling me how pleased they were to carry on my work into the world.  Others said, “you saved my life three years ago”.   Some I have met previously but had not seen for years, others I did not know but all showed the same warmth and appreciation with a passion for helping others.   It was inspiring to see all the various forms of Tapping, the research being done and the humanitarian relief work that is helping so many people throughout the world.

The source of tappingJoanne and I received a standing ovation from our workshop “Thirty Years of Healing With Thought Field Therapy” as we demonstrated the power tools of TFT and showed the many changes and improvements that have taken place in TFT over the last three decades.  They were so grateful and some even expressed surprise at how much TFT has evolved from it’s early days as the Callahan Techniques.

I was so proud when our ATFT Foundation team, Suzanne Connolly and Caroline Sakai, presented their humanitarian relief work and PTSD studies and announced the acceptance for publication of the first study.  They too received a standing ovation and a very strong endorsement from one of ACEP’s lead researchers, David Feinstein.

ACEP ConferenceThe entire conference was exciting with a wonderful positive community spirit. I am pleased to see that our practitioner base is growing and we welcome all who are working with tapping, at the algorithm level, to continue on with their skills and grow with our new training programs in TFT.

A special thanks to all of our clients, practitioners and “tappers”… you’ve helped to make TFT the success it is today,

Roger Callahan.

Dr. Oz Show Interviews Dr. Magdalene… Here’s Her Story.

Dr. Jeanette Magdalene tells her story:

I have been working with what is known as Awareness During Anesthesia for 18 years.

Many people don’t know that more then 100 people per day will wake up during their surgery and not be able to speak, move, open their eyes, anything to let the doctors know they are awake!

This happened to me in 1990 during my own surgery.

I  woke up before the surgery even began only to find myself buried within my body that no longer worked as I knew it. The surgery began, I felt every cut of the knife , smelled and felt my flesh burning , everything everyone was saying and even stepped outside of my body as my heart started to go into arrest and viewed everything the doctor was doing to get my heart under control.

I even heard the doctor say there was nothing wrong with me! Misdiagnosis so never needed the surgery to begin with!

I was offered a large settlement but turned it down so I could speak about this and help others like yourself never to know what I went through. I threw myself into my own research and blew one of the most well kept secrets in medicine wide open. To date I have changed every hospital in America, I teach at every medical school the U.S.A, written a book on Anesthesia Awareness,  have been interviewed in T.V and print throughout the world, and tons more that can be viewed on my website: www.aware4life.com .

I also have worked with Military and Law Enforcement for many years and always felt these type of people needed more for themselves due to the high level of stress and traumas they experience. I’ve put different programs together for them – Anesthesia Awareness – and it took on a life of its own.

Then one day a friend told me about something she heard of called Thought Field Therapy and wanted to know if I would want to go?

I jumped up and said yes lets go! She said “why would I go? That’s your type of work“. I looked at here and said “do you know how I stayed alive on the operating table? By learning. You never know when something like this will help you somehow in your life so your going with me“. read more »

TFT and The Gift Of Smell

Posted in Case Studies, Thought Field Therapy on March 23rd, 2010 by Joanne Callahan – Be the first to comment

Band of focus

I am thrilled and honored to have learned about Thought Field Therapy. The TFT teleclass is one of the best training experiences and investments I have ever made.

The teleclass provided fantastic insight and guidance into the TFT algorithms and usage. I highly recommend everyone learn TFT and put it too good use. TFT can do wonders for you. Now, perhaps you are wondering why I am so excited about Thought Field Therapy. I hope that after reading about my situation and the help TFT has given me, you too will give it a try.

In January 2005 I went sledding down my street. Part way down the steep hill the snow become solid ice. I was unable to steer or stop and slid head first into the bumper of a parked mini-van. I suffered such a bad head injury that I barely made it to the hospital alive. If it took 20 minutes longer, it would have been too late. I was put into a medical coma for 10 days and have a two month period that I do not remember anything from.

With great medical care, support from my family, and post-hospital rehabilitation I finally returned to full time work after 8 months. I am nearly fully recovered other than I had lost 100% of my sense of smell. Medical professionals told me that the loss of smell is not an unusual occurrence after the type of brain injury I had. I was informed that I would never recover my sense of smell.

For five years, it was correct. I did not smell anything. However, in January 2010 I took the TFT teleclass and was given a customized Thought Field Therapy algorithm, from Dr. Roger Callahan, to regain my sense of smell. It is amazing the capability Roger has developed with TFT and Voice Technology. I have used the algorithm (((a, mf, tf, e, g50, eb) 9g) sq) at least 15 times a day for 40 consecutive days (20+ times for 35 of those 40 days).

After the 30th day, I was startled and pleasantly surprised to notice the air all of a sudden seemed different as walked down the indoor hallway near the building cafeteria. It took me a bit to realize I was actually smelling something again. After 5 years, I had sort of forgotten what that was like. In the days since then I have had other occasional instances of smelling things. My sense of smell is not yet 100% back, but I am thrilled to have what I was told could never happen actually occur. TFT has made this possible.

Roger originally explained I would need to follow this 15+ times a day regimen for many weeks. It only takes a minute to execute the algorithm and it can be anytime throughout the day. I gladly and enthusiastically continue applying TFT to further regain my sense of smell. This is much better than five years of thinking I would never smell again. Use TFT it really works. In addition to this more extensive usage, I have also used different TFT algorithms to alleviate other worries and anxieties.

Thought Field Therapy Featured In The UK

Human Trafficking

Think your way clear of fear

The London Evening Standard – London:

I expected when my marriage broke up last summer that my finances would take a hit, that splitting the CD collection would be painful and that I’d analyse then agonise over the reasons for the split. I didn’t anticipate that a childhood fear of the dark would stand between me and a new life, rendering me unable to sleep or venture out after nightfall.

There didn’t seem any way I could talk myself out of it. Stern words with self weren’t working. I needed help. Then a friend suggested tapping, also known as either Thought Field Therapy (TFT) or Emotional Field Therapy (EFT). After months of broken sleep I was prepared to try anything.

My local practitioner, Suzi Osborne, came round and asked me to think of myself walking down a pitch-black country lane, alone — my idea of hell. My palms were sweating and I felt so anxious I almost wanted to cry.

She took my right wrist in her hand and gently started tapping out a pattern on my forehead, across the top of my chest and inside my right forearm. After a couple of minutes, she stopped, asked me to take a few deep breaths and try to put myself back into that country lane. I could see everything from the previous thought but it no longer made me stressed. That’s the whole idea, Suzi explained. The tapping pattern separates the memory or thought from any negative emotions that used to come with it.

So did I skip out into my garden that night without a care in the world? Well, yes. And I found myself able to walk right to the end — where the big scary apple trees are — without any anxiety.

The technique is also being used by TFT specialists working with US authorities to help New Orleans inhabitants still affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and with children and adults traumatised by the genocide in Rwanda. Powerful stuff. And in a time when so many doctors seem happy to dole out happy pills and expensive long-term therapy referrals to “cure” our fears and phobias, isn’t a quick-fire, drug-free alternative worth a try?

Roger Callahan Joins ACEP to Increase Awareness for TFT and Tapping Therapies

Posted in Events on February 21st, 2010 by Roger Callahan – 1 Comment

As founder and developer of Thought Field Therapy, the first of the tapping therapies, and the underlying structure for the many derivatives, Dr. Callahan has lead the field with new changes, developments, and research for over 30 years.

ACEP has been working hard, over the last 12 years, to get “energy psychology” and tapping therapies accepted by APA. After having been rejected several times, they now feel they will need to “raise the funds necessary to conduct the state-of-the-art research that cannot be ignored.”

ATFT Foundation has been funding humanitarian and research projects for over 6 years and has recently completed two of these “state-of-the-art research that cannot be ignored”, studies on PTSD. Together, Dr. Callahan, Callahan Techniques, Ltd., ATFT and ACEP can be a much stronger force in bringing recognition to our work and facilitating help for so many suffering from trauma throughout the world

As we all recognize, TFT is about healing and helping people, and not about competition, working with ACEP, participating in joint research and presenting at the upcoming ACEP conference will help provide a united front for a greater awareness of TFT and all of the meridian tapping therapies

I would like to share the announcement for the next annual ACEP Conference, and, that Dr. Callahan and I will be presenting Thirty Years of Healing With TFT.

Dr. Caroline Sakai and Suzanne Connolly, LCSW, will be presenting the ATFT Foundation’s PTSD studies, that state-of-the art research mentioned above. We are all very excited because this is the first time in many years where we will be working together with ACEP and the various energy Psychology therapies to expand awareness, increase research and create a stronger force to reckon with mainstream regulatory bodies.

If you are interested in attending this event, you can save by registering now. We expect this event to be sold out. I hope to see you there.

We’d like to share a video from the Fly Fearless program in the UK, that uses TFT to overcome the fear of flying.

We’ve had great success with those suffering from this phobia.. including Whoopi Goldberg.

17 participants on the Fly Fearless flight take to the air after their seminar, which included a Thought Field Therapy.

See how they do…

The video was done by Michael Comyn of Fly Fearless in Ireland

Virgin Atlantic also has a fear of flying program in the UK – you can register for the Flying Without Fear here.

Thought Field Therapy Boot Camp

Posted in Events on December 27th, 2009 by Roger Callahan – 2 Comments

tft-boot-camp

At the request of many of our customers and fellow professionals, we have taken the very best TFT has to offer and created an all new course, TFT Boot Camp.

This exciting new learning experience includes the best parts from each of our popular and long time courses:

  1. Algorithm Level Training
  2. Step A – Basic Diagnostic Self-Study Program
  3. Sensitivities, Intolerances and Toxins ~ Self Study Program
  4. Voltmeter & Psychological Reversal downloadable book
  5. Diagnostic Level Course

Many part time practitioners and healthcare workers from other fields have said:

~I have heard so much about the power of TFT and want to be able to add it to my practice, but I don’t have the time or need to learn all the levels of training and comprehensive theory. Can’t you just give me the most effective tools to add to my practice.~

Others, like mothers, school teachers, massage therapists and clergy tell us they want to be able to use the powerful tools of TFT to help their friends, family or congregations, but they don’t want to know all the theory behind it or do a lot of studying. They just want to help themselves and others.

And others are saying, we can’t take the time away from work to travel and attend a 3-day seminar.

So we have created a course that specifically meets the needs of these individuals:

* Healthcare workers in other fields like medicine, homeopathy, chiropractic, and naturopathic
* Part-time practitioners
* Human resource managers
* Parents
* Counselors
* Teachers
* Clergy
* Business owners
* Coaches

Our ALL NEW TFT BOOTCAMP is an intensive, 2-day, weekend course that takes the best of each level of TFT and puts it all together in one comprehensive program.

Dates for 2010

August 28-29 – Vancouver, BC
September 25-26 – Chicago, IL
October 9-10th – Orlando, FL

Attendance is Limited! Be one of the first to experience a TFT Boot Camp.
