This year starts off with continued change for the world, and also for Thought Field Therapy. The need for alternative therapy has never been greater, and we continue to see thousands of new people each month coming to our website to get help with stress, anxiety, fear and trauma.

In 2011, we focused on expansion of our live training programs throughout the world, for both the personal use of TFT as well as the use of TFT in helping others. This year, we are expanding to the Spanish language in Mexico, Spain and South America.

We've also created new products and training for all levels of TFT. The ATFT Foundation, continues to provide humanitarian relief, research and education around the world. We'll also be releasing the ATFT foundation documentary demonstrating the model for large-scale trauma relief using TFT.

Now that I am confident in the future success of TFT, I've decided that it's a good time to make one last change.

After sharing TFT with the world for over 32 years, I'll will be stepping back from the day-to-day operations to enjoy spending more time with my 8 grandchildren, and pursuing my hobbies of reading and enjoying the outdoors.

I'll continue on as Chairman of The Board for Callahan Techniques, and will no longer be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. My wife and partner, Joanne, who has worked with me the past 23 years, will continue to keep TFT growing. I am fully confident that Joanne, and our the team of exceptional TFT trainers and advisors, will continue to make Thought Field Therapy the leading tapping therapy.

I would like to share it with you.

As you may know, we give away a free TFT Stress Guide - in fact the guide is downloaded over 50 times per day.

Everyone that gets the guide is asked to let us know how tapping therapy has worked for them. We do this for a few reasons. First is to make sure that we are providing instructions that are easy to follow, as second is that we like to hear from all of the TFT family.

Over the course of this year we have received over 1,000 surveys from our TFT readers, and we'd like to share some of the surprising results.

Here is a sampling of the results people are getting with Thought Field Therapy®... from just the past 2 weeks.

Feel better about myself. Didn't realize that the trauma of my mothers sudden death in front of me when I was 3 yrs old had affected me for the next 55 years.

I PURCHASED YOUR BOOK, TAPPING THE HEALER WITHIN, AND I WAS ABLE TO STOP SMOKING AFTER JUST ONE SESSION.

Instant relief, and calm. Simply amazing!

After I performed the tapping technique i absolutely forgot about the stress I was dealing with. I just couldn't stop laughing!

I applied just the bare beginning meaning finding out what to tap and in what sequence and I right away experienced a positive turn - especially the Reversal taps! Amazing!

Before I went to work I glanced at the website and implemented the steps and it became a very useful tool. I started implementing the steps when I found myself in lots of traffic on my way to work. I am so glad that I knew what to do. Thank you.

I feel calmer, I have been tapping everyday for the past three days, everytime I think of it. Helps to put myself in better space, would like to have it specific to my personal needs, think the results will be phenomenal.

Felt better after tapping. Routine a bit different to the EFT I'm accustomed to, but I find TFT more credible. Probably because this is the foundation of tapping.

I used TFT to relieve me of stress during my workday. During breaks, I would tap and think about the stress leaving my body. It helped me enormously and I was able to breather better, relax and enjoy my time at work! Thanks for this valuable tool. I love that I don't even need anything but my own hands to take stress away! It worked immediately and the effects lasted a long time. I plan to use this as often as I need to whenever necessary. Thanks!

Kevin suggested your site as one of the means of getting rid of anxieties and negativities. When I downloaded the TFT self help I read it through. The next morning I took my usual walk on my 'attitude hill' where i talk to myself and run things over in my mind and I found myself tapping whenever I found myself On the hill this morning i found myself tapping each time i took a deep breath and feeling better and better with each thought. I plan to get as deep into TFT as i can and use it daily. Thanks for being there for me.

I'm doing the collarbone breathing two or three times a day - I thought at first it was great, but I think I have a problem with trusting my own efforts - I'm also using Susan Hansen's meridian balancing video. The two together seem to be working quite well.

Another interesting experience is with my son who is 25 years old software engineer. One day we were playing badminton at 6 am when he asked me to rush back to home. When we came home he removed his T shirt. I could see red rashes like swollen lumps all over his body. He was scratching his body and in pain. We did not have any medicine so my wife went to neighbors to ask if they have any. At that early hours doctors would not have opened their dispensaries neither the medical stores. So I suggested him TFT. I did one NLP exercise with him followed by TFT. By that time my wife came with neighbors, four ladies precise. Our exercise was on. To their (and also mine) astonishment the rashes simply disappeared and itching sensation stopped. They could not believe their eyes. Since then TFT (I knew EFT then) has become integral part of my counseling."

The guide helps me every day as I am a truck driver. The stresses of the road are now met with a smile and a friendly wave rather than the "rage" I used to dish out.

I received the download and I gave it a try, the result to be honest was not as instant for me as it was for other people but while I was laying down and starting thinking about my 1 million again I actually started to feel something again I actually feel excited about it now i feel more excited about even feeling excited then the actual money. Thank you very very much I would like to know what in my way if it really was depression or maybe stress i never heard of stress or depression preventing to feel emotions. After a few rounds. My levels of anxiety dropped. I felt much calmer and relaxed.

I feel like a big load has been lifted from my mind.I feel more positive.I feel good about the the future.I'm not sure about trust I think I can make it.

"I usually wake up in the middle of the night and during that period I will experience a panic attack of some kind. The attack will range from mild to extreme where I'm pacing back and forth in my bedroom freaking out. Two nights ago I tried the free download. I would say it was a medium range with a knot in my stomach. I performed the anxiety release which lessened the panic but not the knot. Then performed the chest breathing and anxiety release again after. The knot was still there but was reduced and so was the anxiety. Last night I experience a milder attack and performed the anxiety release. This calmed me down significantly. I was laying there in bed thinking and I realize just how calm and relaxed is was, this took me by surprise. Very helpful! Thank you I am surprised and grateful!!!

"I have had many traumas in my 43 years of life and a very recent one that I couldn't get out of my head. Each night I would lay down to sleep and relive the experience. Since practicing The Callahan TFT and collar bone breathing, I have truly not THOUGHT about my ""traumatic experience"", accepted it as something that was meant to be and forgiven myself. I am just a beginner, but plan on learning more and more about TFT, it's simple, free and best of all - it works! Thank you Dr. and JoAnne Callahan. I can't wait to learn more.

I was amazed at how tft took such heavy, and emotional events and lifted it out of my physiology. I was floored that in just minutes I had achieved a level of emotional freedom that I had never experienced. Lengthy periods of other forms of treatment never really helped. I felt so stuck and lost emotionally before tft came into my life. When I began to use TFT a feel good, so that is the reason that I believe in that.

I have belonged to a networking group for 2 years, but I still get nervous when I do my presentations. After doing the Algorithm I felt more at ease. only did it once for the stress, it felt good at the time, have to try for the others and do it more often It helped me get a new focus. One more of positive feelings.

I had a great result with a therapist a few years ago resolving a traumatic event with TFT, so I wanted to try it for weight loss. I discovered my core issue which is abandonment. (which I knew was an issue I had, but didn't realize consciously how it related to eating until doing some TFT on this issue). Since it has only been a few days, I don't have any weight loss results to report, but know I feel confident that I can work on my "core issue" and let go of trying to lose weight. Because I was just sabotaging myself anyway. I suppose it kept my mind focused on that and away from the painful core issue. Now I know that I'm so stressed out because I'm trying so hard to keep up appearances (that I was sabotaging anyway), to keep from being abandoned. That's not a very self-loving way to live. The belief is that I myself am not lovable, but if I try I can be what I think is lovable - which is a stressed out mess and not actually fun to be around. My husband fell in love with me in high school when I had no fear of being myself, now I'm so far away from that person that is stuffed deep down inside and pushed further down with food perhaps. I can't even speak in a very loud volume because everything is stuffed so deep that I'm actually choking. I really need to release all those deep, stuffed away emotions (fear, anger, sadness). Now I feel like I can consciously think about it and do TFT. Wish me luck!

As a Somatic Intuitive Training Practitioner I will find these useful in my work. "

By using the tapping, I've immediately been able to reduce the weight of axiety or any emotional distress all together.

I've only tried it a couple times & my anger related to the trauma was lessened. My goal is to practice this often so that I can master it & completely overcome my obstacles.

It is difficult to avoid negative people when that energy is present in a family member (i.e. where you just cannot "walk away" from the negative/cold attitude)as one could when encountering such in non-family persons. This seems to be a method to stop my bad emotions (anxiety, stress) to undesirable attitudes in my environment that simply cannot be avoided out of respect and love for the other person. I realize that I control my thoughts, and thoughts control my emotions but some emotion just triggers faster than I can control. This method appears to help after the emotions are triggered. I'm interested in learning more and might explore the book.

I was still thinking about the past conversation and the feelings associated with that from many years ago in the past, and this method helped me to take my mind off and kind of like "changing the channel."

It works magically!

I'm not sure if I'm even doing the technique correctly. The little video really helped because I'm more of a visual person. I don't have access to the computer 24/7 but last night I tried it out from what I could remember. I went to sleep and slept ALL night (usually I get up at least three times during the night). I even woke up this morning feeling good. That, in itself, is amazing because I usually sleep until after noon. So I'm just gonna keep practicing what has been offered. Thank you SO much!!!

The tapping techniques do seem to help quite immediately...although I've only recently started utilizing them, I believe they are a big help and a simple way to naturally aid in "re-wiring" the human mind for the better. I'm glad I discovered the techniques, and thank you!

I have less stress. Each day I complete TFT techniques your guide taught and now my stress is gradually lowering little by little which means my Fibromyalgia symptoms are less too. Getting better daily! Thank you!

"Pleasant release of energies that have been causing me stress for quite a while. I am doing the work on a daily basis and feel good about what I have seen so far. I have been using these techniques for less than 2 weeks."

For almost 14 days I have not taken the 5mg blood pressure tablets. Generally, I relax and take a reading on my blood pressure monitor. When a more desirable reading is my goal, then I apply the TFT techniques before the next test. I'm very excited with my results. On 7/17/2001 I'll visit my doctor and show her the results of my readings. It will be interesting to hear her view on my status, especially since I am so against drug medication.

I had already been shown TFT by my therapist to help me ease stress, but mainly for each time I felt like a cigarette and The craving went away instantly.

I am in a CISM training and the facilitator gave your name to look TFT up. We tried it and it worked for me for stress, and what I found interesting was that I didn't crave a cigarette for 4 hrs, very amazing.

I have wanted to be a Healer for decades and you have provided the tools for me to do that. I have implemented the techniques according to your book and found it so simple, easy to use and most of all, astounded by the results in such a short space of time, just mind blowing, it feels like some kind of trickery is going on. I have used the techniques on myself and my family, and achieved 90% success rate. Considering I am only just beginning to use and learn about these techniques, this is nothing less than incredible. I'm so excited by the results, I am signing up for the boot camp training here in Australia in June 2011, in addition when I can afford it, I will most definitely be doing the advanced training and my ultimate goal is to undertake the VT Training. My passion is just sizzling with excitement. Thank you Dr Callahan for providing the world with your knowledge and wisdom, we need more people like you on our troubled planet. Many blessing to your and your team.

TFT can be used by my clients for their own self-healing. I strive to help my clients develop trust in their Inner Voice. Giving clients the same TFT tools that I use in my practice creates greater self reliance and deeper trust in themselves.

Many individuals attend our TFT Boot Camps, from all walks of life, either for personal or professional use. Often, those with a currently existing practice, have questions about how they can successfully integrate TFT into their existing practice. So, whenever we receive a case study from someone who has quickly and successfully done this, we like to share it with others.

Jacqueline Smilie is a long-time alternative health care practitioner skilled in EEG, NAET, EFT and others. When she came upon TFT, she was very excited about her results and came to a TFT Boot Camp. The following is an example of how she has integrated her new skills into her current practice.

In fact, she is so excited about her results with TFT and how empowering it is for her clients, she is hosting our January 2012 Boot Camp, in Redlands, CA, just to help make it convenient for her colleagues and clients.

Fear of EEG Neurofeedback ear clip

Jacqueline Smillie, TFT-Dx, Redlands, CA

For over a decade I have used EEG computers for brain training. It is surprising how many young children are quite anxious about putting the gentle electrode clip on their ears. Many children simply can’t be hooked up. I had tried various ways to lower their anxiety. Some would come in every week, sit in the chair holding the clip. I’d give them an ear clip to take home and play with.

These methods didn’t help. I’d let them hook up their parents; sit in a parent’s lap, etc. For many, the anxiety never dropped and the only option was to wait a few more years for them to outgrow their fear before we could train their brain.

Last week, a five year old boy came in for his first EEG session. He was familiar with my office and in fact, had watched his big sister train on many occasions. And yet as soon as he sat in the chair, he froze with fear. “Do you have to put that clip on my ear?”

“Yes, but only if you are okay with that. Are you scared to put it on your ear?” “Yes.”

His mother gave me permission to use TFT to lower his anxiety. He was reversed when he said, “I want to be free of this fear.” After he tapped the PR point, his tapping sequence was Gamut Point, Under Arm, Thumb. The SUD dropped from a 9.5 to a 7.

We treated another reversal and then did the Gamut Circuit, followed by the sequence. He smiled widely and reported that all fear was gone. He was ready to be hooked up. I had him finish with the Rapid Relaxation. We high-fived as his mother looked on in amazement.

As soon as I reached for the rubbing alcohol, used on the ear and scalp before applying the electrodes, he froze again. He said he was afraid the alcohol on his head might make him want to drink, something not allowed in his religion. After his mother’s permission, we treated him for that anxiety as well.

This time after tapping for his reversal, “I want to be free of this fear,” he tapped Under the Eye and Under his Arm. His SUD immediately dropped from 6 to non-detectable dropped. We finished with the Rapid Relaxation.

Anxiety eliminated, his first EEG session was calm, happy and stress free. Until TFT I had never found a reliable way to reduce ear clip and alcohol anxiety.

This week he returned for his second EEG training. I asked if he needed to do any TFT beforehand and he reported that he was ready to go. By the end of the first fifteen minutes he began to squirm a bit. We stopped. He said he was bored. I had him tap Under his Arm, the Gamut Circuit, Under his Arm. He settled down and had his best score, relaxed, focused and happy.

After hosting a boot camp in January, I will plan on becoming a trainer. I leaped at the chance to create a TFT Training Center for the Inland Empire for three reasons. First, after using various energetic healing modalities in thirty years of private practice, I found that TFT is the fastest, most effective, and elegant way to reduce and eliminate the energy of anxiety and trauma.

Equally important, TFT can be used by my clients for their own self-healing. I strive to help my clients develop trust in their Inner Voice. Giving clients the same TFT tools that I use in my practice creates greater self reliance and deeper trust in themselves. With this in mind, I "knew" that I had to create a training center for our local community.

Espn recently ran an article on how Tom Hanson helped Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia get over the "yips" with Thought Field Therapy®

Below is a reprint of the article from ESPN by Gordon Edes, ESPNBoston.com's Red Sox reporter.

Saltalamacchia says yips are gone

Red Sox catcher swears by his work with sports psychologists

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- There are taps to the eyebrow, the side of the eye, below the eye, below the nose, below the lips. A tap below the armpit, below the collarbone, below the pectoral muscles. A tap to the top of the head, then repeat the circuit.

Even if people watch closely during the course of a game, they may never see any of these, because you are taught how to hide these motions. They are intended for you, only you, and for you they are intended to be empowering.

Dr. Tom Hanson

The system is simply called tapping, and while Tom Hanson, the man who teaches this form of what he calls "energy psychology," describes it as sounding "weird," Boston Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia is a believer.

Once, Saltalamacchia was too proud to acknowledge that he needed help from someone else, be it a longtime sports psychologist like Harvey Dorfman, whom he once worked with, or Hanson, a performance-enhancement coach to whom Saltalamacchia turned when he was having trouble throwing the ball back to the pitcher, the simplest of tasks for a catcher.

"When I was first coming up, just being young, your ego plays into it," Saltalamacchia said Tuesday morning after concluding a workout here with a session of batting practice, along with two other early arrivals at Sox camp, Ryan Kalish and Daniel Nava. "You don't want anyone to know you're getting help. But you're getting help in the training room, why not get help for other issues?

"I didn't want anyone to know I wanted somebody, I needed somebody. That was a big issue with me. But it's done wonders for me. Going home after a game two years ago, I could have hit the bed and slept for 18 hours because my head was just going, and now, I've learned to be able to work with that. Think smart, think positive. You can't put negatives in your head, it's just going to hurt you all around. It's been great for me."

Saltalamacchia reached out to Hanson last spring when the throwing problem surfaced -- in sporting parlance, it's known as the "yips," the same affliction that can affect a golfer's putting. Saltalamacchia had had surgery the previous September to correct thoracic outlet syndrome, a group of disorders that occur when the blood vessels or nerves in the thoracic outlet -- the space between the collarbone and first rib -- becomes compressed, causing pain in the shoulders and neck, and numbness in the fingers.

As part of the surgery to alleviate the condition, Saltalamacchia had an impinged rib removed from near his right shoulder. During his recovery, the throwing problems surfaced. They grew acute after he was sent down to the minors by the Texas Rangers one game into the season, after he'd hurt his back.

The catcher said his father found Hanson on the Internet. "He called," Hanson said, "after reading about me on a site called YipsBeGone.com."

Hanson said he worked for the New York Yankees in 2001 as a performance-enhancement counselor, but was fired before the end of the season, primarily, he said, because the team was not ready for someone who did what he did.

"I watched [Chuck] Knoblauch go through hell," Hanson said, referring to the former Yankees second baseman who had trouble throwing the ball to first base. "But I never talked to him, and at the time I couldn't have helped him."

It was only in the past couple of years, after Hanson and his wife, Birgit, started their own business in Tampa, that he discovered the system of tapping.

"I didn't make it up," Hanson said. "I learned about it by reading Gary Craig, who is in California and developed something called 'emotional freedom techniques.'"

Hanson's initial reaction? "I thought it was stupid," he said.

But after an encounter with a distraught high school player for whom, Hanson said, the technique produced immediate results, Hanson became a convert. The system, he said, is modeled after the pressure points found in acupuncture. And athletes with the yips, he said, "are in so much pain."

"Tapping helps clear out the negative emotion," he said. "Say you struck out to end the seventh inning, and you still have to play defense and might come up to bat again. How to clear out that negative emotion?

"You focus on the negative. Start on your eyebrows. Focus on the negative. Each site, your eyes, below your nose, below your lip. The idea is to do a tap lap, go down and around, tap the top of your head, then start again. Tapping helps clear out the negative emotion."

Hanson said all the counseling he did with Saltalamacchia was done over the phone. "I've never met Salty," he said, "but he became pretty functional, pretty fast."

Saltalamacchia said that tapping "has been very helpful," and he has maintained a relationship with Hanson. The two may finally get together, both men said, during camp.

Hanson acknowledges that his system represents a sharp break from his previous training in cognitive behavior. "This is below your conscious level," he said. "Tapping is in the family of energy psychology."

Curiously, while Hanson's website biography says he holds his doctorate in sports psychology and he refers to himself as "Dr. Tom Hanson," he writes elsewhere on his site that his degree is actually in physical education, which he confirmed on the phone Tuesday night.

"People don't care," he said about the discrepancy. "It matters to me, it matters to psychologists, but I'm not a psychologist. I have a Ph.D. in physical education with a specialization in sports psychology. I am Dr. Tom Hanson. I have a doctorate."

Hanson also works with businesses -- he cited some work he had done for Verizon -- and said he has heard from numerous athletes.

"I didn't set out to be the 'yips guy,'" he said, "but I happen to be able to fix it."

The problem, which gave Saltalamacchia so much trouble while he was with the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate in Oklahoma City, has not surfaced since he came to the Red Sox in a trade last July.

"It was a health issue that kind of grew mental, obviously, but I worked on it," Saltalamacchia said. "I've got stuff I go through, but as far as I'm concerned it's a dead issue. Are there going to be recurrences? I don't think so. It's one of those things that through my career I'm going to have to deal with, but I don't see it being a problem. I don't think about it. I used to."

Now, Saltalamacchia said, he is able to focus on the challenge before him, which is establishing himself as Boston's No. 1 catcher. That's why he spent much of the offseason working with bullpen coach Gary Tuck on grueling, twice-a-week, 2½-hour sessions of blocking balls, receiving balls and throwing.

"They've said the starting job is mine," Saltalamacchia said. "Whether it's three days a week, four days a week, whatever, I don't know. I'm not really worried about it. My job is the pitchers, to go out there and help them get through their game. When I get to the plate, do my job in whatever way the situation calls for."

Saltalamacchia will share time behind the plate with Jason Varitek, the team captain who turns 39 in April. Of those who suggest the team's biggest question mark, and possible weak link, is its catching, Saltalamacchia said:

"Honestly, I don't have anything to respond to that. What they think and what people are saying is what they want to think and say. We know as a team what we've got to do on the field. We all have a job and we've all got to be there for each other. I'm prepared to do my job, and I'm going to be there for every single guy on the team. I don't look at it any other way than to go out there and play hard every day."

Saltalamacchia is 25, the same age, as has been noted before, that another switch-hitting catcher, Varitek, launched his stellar career with the Red Sox. In some ways, Saltalamacchia agreed, he is an "old" 25 since he has already been traded twice and dealt with a number of injuries.

"I've definitely been through a lot more stuff than a lot of 25-year-olds, but ultimately it got me where I am now," he said. "I'm in a perfect situation to go out there and make a career out of it."

And it helps, Saltalamacchia said, knowing he has someone to talk to when he hits those rough patches. There is Hanson, there is Dorfman, there is Bob Tewksbury (the former major league pitcher turned sports psychologist).

"It's almost a necessity," Saltalamacchia said. "That's why a lot of teams have gone with shrinks. We've got Tewks for us just to talk about issues. You don't want to go home and talk with your wife, talk to your parents about it. It's good to have someone in baseball who has an outside look on it, that has no ties to you. It's helped me tremendously."

The holiday season is typically a stressful time for most of us.This year will be particularly stressful due to the increased financial strain many are facing. And for others it will also be emotionally painful due to the absence of loved ones, either currently away serving their country or lost in the many disasters both man-made and natural that have occurred throughout the world.

A season that historically is supposed to represent peace, love and joy, often turns out to be a nightmare from being stressed out, under-financed, and overwhelmed.

So when those old fashioned holiday tunes are playing, and the sadness starts rising, try tapping away those blues and then remember to smile.

Probably the single most stressful thing facing us this year is feeling the need to buy gifts for many but having limited resources.Another area of stress and concern is feeling the need for entertaining and pleasing others. These challenges can be faced with much more calm and mental clarity if you are tapping away your stress daily.

Our daily Stress Busting Guide is invaluable for relieving stress or anxiety as it comes up, keeping you calm and collected as each new difficulty arises. You can download this tapping guide for free from our web site. Use it morning and night during this busy season.

A Japanese study demonstrated that TFT meridian tapping normalizes cortisol, the stress hormone, levels in the body. Increased amounts of this stress hormone will leave you feeling tense and add to your feeling of being overwhelmed. It is well known that reduced stress contributes to a more robust immune system.

As we shop, interact in public, attend parties and travel, a healthy immune system is vital to maintaining our health. To learn how to use tapping for better health, just use the Stress Busting Guide regularly.

And then lastly, don’t allow your feelings of anger or guilt to linger and take up residence... try tapping them away as they surface. If you feel guilty that you can’t do or provide all that you would like to this season, or others have not met your expectations, tap away those harmful emotions. You can truly give and receive good feelings when your own negative emotions have been resolved. To find out where to tap for anger and guilt, go to the trauma relief blog, and the version for complex trauma with anger and guilt will help you to smile and reach out to others in the holiday spirit.

These are some simple ways that you can help turn your holidays into the peaceful and joyous time that we all wish for.As our gift, from Dr. Roger Callahan and Joanne Callahan, to all, we have provided these free tools to assist you, and wish you all a very blessed and joyous holiday season as we celebrate 30 years of healing with TFT.

Our New Book Is Now Available!

Real People Reveal How Thought Field Therapy® Heals Trauma, Anxiety and Disease.

To all the Thought Field Therapy practitioners around the world who have helped hurting and despairing people recover their lives, this book is dedicated to you. -Roger and Joanne Callahan

For the past 30 years, a simple technique called Thought Field Therapy has been rapidly healing negative emotions such as trauma and anxiety—and even disease—for people who are desperate to regain wellness and normalcy in their lives.

What started as a simple therapeutic treatment to stimulate the body’s own healing systems through the identification of a specific code and then tapping this code on various points of the body—using the same system Chinese acupuncturists do—has become a mainstream therapy accepted by medical doctors, psychologists, alternative healthcare practitioners and even military mental-health personnel.

Thousands of people have recovered rapidly from troublesome disorders like insomnia, gout or tinnitus. Others have eliminated stress, anxiety and phobias such as fear of flying and fear of public speaking—literally within minutes. Still others with life-threatening cancer have completely reversed the disease. Hundreds have regained their lives by curbing addictive urges for nicotine, controlled substances or obsessive behaviors. And those suffering the aftereffects of trauma—warfare, rape, injury or loss—have instantly removed the horrible emotions and feelings tied to that event which previously controlled their lives, sometimes for decades.

But while hundreds of thousands of people worldwide have proven that Thought Field Therapy (or “TFT”) is the most effective tool available for rapidly improving one’s physical and mental health—surprisingly, millions of consumers still suffering from illness, stress, depression and trauma have yet to even hear of it.

That, we believe, is about to change.

With the stories in this book, you’ll see for yourself how other people—perhaps with the same disorder or limiting behavior that you have—have used TFT to instantly calm the stress, eliminate the fears and phobias, erase what’s holding them back from success, and begin the process of healing, both physically and psychologically.

You’ll read stories from soldiers, housewives, retirees, teachers, sports trainers, doctors, veterinarians and corporate executives. You’ll discover how TFT works for babies, athletes, bombing victims, war refugees, teenagers, even horses and dogs. You’ll celebrate with stroke victims, heart patients, mothers-to-be, young children and others as they find relief and recovery.

And you’ll read stories from the TFT practitioners themselves who, every day, treat clients from all walks of life.

Within these stories, perhaps you’ll see a little of your own life—a similar disorder or past trauma or controlling behavior that could be eliminated easily, painlessly and rapidly with TFT.

WOMEN UNITE!
By Gabe Licht, Daily Reporter Staff

More than 200 women gathered at Legends Social and Events Center Friday night to support Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault, listen to encouraging speakers, dance and laugh together in unity and honor this year's Outstanding Woman Rhonda Wedeking, who was also the emcee for the event.

Collectively, the events created the 2011 Women's Night Out.

Following entertainment by Billie James, New Orleans' residents Ecoee Rooney and Kate Finlayson shared their stories.

Rooney is a trauma nurse who experienced Hurricane Katrina firsthand. Following the disaster, Rooney met a psychologist from Los Angeles who taught her Thought Field Therapy, which is also referred to as Tapping Therapy.

"After the storm, people were so desperate that they would try anything," Rooney said. "That's the point where we got. We were so messed up, we were so hurt that we didn't even care."

Stress levels started at a level 8 and were reduced to .75 through using the tapping therapy, which Rooney now believes in and shares with others. The method is used throughout the United States in trauma centers and is also utilized by the military to treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

"Now take that energy home to your families," Rooney instructed the group.

In her recent London trip, Joanne Callahan joined with the other ATFT Foundation UK board members for an important meeting and the launching of a new service for ATFT members. She worked with other board members and a visiting guest to construct a plan for the UK ATFT Foundation to offer professional mentoring and support to UK and EU TFT practitioners.

The foundation and it's board members have begun supporting the incorporation of TFT in health care organizations such as the National Health Service. Where possible, they are also encouraging research to provide further evidence of TFT's efficacy in various health care environments. This effort will provide much needed leadership, support and supervision for our TFT practitioners throughout the UK and EU.

The Board is in a position to provide support free of charge to practitioners who would like to receive help to increase their understanding and skills, particularly where this would contribute to the achievement of foundation objectives, but also to develop the skills of practitioners to improve the availability of TFT generally. We have already provided some mentoring for practitioners following training, especially within the National Health Service.

The current Foundation Chairperson is Dr Howard Robson, a retired Consultant Physician and Cardiologist, with extensive experience in teaching, training, educational supervision and mentoring. He continues to examine for the Royal Colleges of Physicians. Phyll Robson is Treasurer and is a nurse, qualified Tutor, teacher and has worked as a Freelance Consultant in change management. Both Howard and Phyll are Optimal Health TFT practitioners and have a long association with the National Health Service.

Together, they provide the ATFT Foundation UK board with an in-depth skill set and knowledge of working within the NHS and academic settings, and humanitarian deployments. This is an invaluable service and resource for our TFT trainees, both newly trained and existing practitioners wishing to make an inroad in the national health care systems.

Initially just these two board members will be involved in providing this service. The service will begin after July 1, 2011 and you can contact them by email: r.robson2@btinternet.com.

When I tabulated the demonstration results from our new TFT teleclass series I was amazed. The number of people and variety of problems we worked with and helped, in a brief period of time, following each class was truly a tribute to the healing power of TFT.

We offered a series of five teleclasses, beginning last January and ending in November. Each class had a 55-60 minute presentation on TFT and how to use it on yourself at the algorithm level. Then, we ended each call with live demonstrations with TFT Voice Technology (VT) from Dr. Callahan. This allowed participants to experience our most successful level of TFT, Voice Technology. The live demonstrations lasted 20-45 minutes with the average time per class about 30 minutes.

We had 79 volunteers for these demonstrations. Based on 300 minutes of total demonstration time and 79 volunteers, the average treatment time was a mere 3.797 minutes. This is just truly astounding.

During the classes, we worked on many types of problems. We eliminated fears for things like driving, freeways, flying, bridges, tunnels, public speaking and even death. We helped many get rid of cravings or addictive behaviors. Some eliminated a desire for alcohol, others cigarettes and food, and we helped still others stop biting their nails, pulling hair or picking.

Others learned how to easily and quickly control their anger or rage and improve their relationships.

Many suffered the effects from past trauma and we were able to successfully stop the upset from these past events including accidents, abuse, loss of loved ones, or divorce and even for those who were a victim of a crime.

We had many wanting to learn tools to eliminate self-sabotage, negative thinking and obsessive worry. They learned these tools during the presentation portion of the class and then many experienced relief from individual tapping sequences as volunteers.

Not only did we work with emotional and anxiety issues, we helped many physical problems as well. Everything from physical pain to digestive issues and even the loss of sense of smell responded to their tapping sequences.

It was heartwarming to hear the relief and change in those suffering from depression and even severe post-partum depression.

There were too many to list here but I wanted to convey the broad sense of what our participants accomplished in these classes.

Every volunteer responded to their sequences. Some had their problems completely eliminated, others received the tools to continue to work on them and improve their quality of life. There were only a few individuals that had a limited response in the brief time on the call. But even they had the chance to experience TFT VT and see some immediate relief with hope for them to continue to improve.

They all received the recording of each class and an extensive workbook for future use. They now have these tools and examples to continue improving their life, reducing fears, stress and trauma.

These popular teleclasses provided a wonderful, affordable way for all to have access to learning how to use TFT algorithms for themselves and get individual TFT VT tapping sequences directly from Dr. Callahan.

There are probably not many other healing modalities that can help such a wide variety of problems in such a brief time, under 4 minutes, and be safe, non-invasive and drug-free. Come try it for yourself.

We will be continuing these popular classes this year. They are a wonderful opportunity to experience the healing power of TFT for yourself. This year our classes will have guest experts and address many specific or new areas of help.

Yesterday’s Wall Street Journal’s Corporate section warned about the stress of our workplace environments, citing “Burnout” or “frankly burned out” for some early retirements. One of the articles says the stress and pressure has increased significantly due to globalization, stiffer competition, government regulation and the weak economy. They say executive recruiters even measure a candidate’s ability to handle stress.

While these articles reference stress on the CEO’s of major corporations, we all face these same stressors to some degree.

Add to these daily stressors, the stress of the Holiday Season, and we have a potential for burn out at many levels, manifesting in anxiety, fear, anger, frustration, hopelessness, depression, sleeplessness and fatigue among other symptoms. All of these negative emotions affect our immune system and our ability to fight off the winter flues, colds and viruses. And, our workplace productivity suffers.

What can we do about it? The article briefly mentions exercise as an important release for stress, but offers no other suggestions short of removing oneself from the job. Most of us are not in a position to retire. We need a simple, daily routine to help reduce or eliminate the stress in our lives.

Dr. Roger Callahan developed a daily stress relief program using Thought Field Therapy (meridian tapping) that has given much relief to many over the last two decades. It is a simple guide that only takes minutes to do. Our users have given us feedback on the relief they are experiencing, better sleep, less anxiety, reduced anger and even better relationships.

See what others have already experienced:

“I am experiencing a serenity and greater sense of calm. I felt a soothing warmth flood throughout my body the first time I applied the techniques.”

“Helped me to relax”

“TFT is a good source for me to continue to practice daily. It's helped me tremendously. Thank you so much!!! ”

“…I am extremely sleep deprived and have been using TFT to help me calm down before exploding outwards at my family. I am sure my husband and children are as grateful for TFT as I am.”

“Almost immediately I felt a since of well-being. I am a massage therapist and I am excited about including this in my practice.”

“…after doing the technique the first time, I immediately felt more relaxed and focused.”

….”stress (clenching teeth to the point my whole back jaw was painful.)”

“2 days now and no pain, and no clenching plan on purchasing the self-help course in the near future.”

“…stress reduction, better sleep”

“LESS TENSION AND A SENSE OF INNER CENTREDNESS AND BALANCE WHICH LASTS BUT NEEDS TO BE RE-ENFORCED WITH ANOTHER SESSION”

“I'm having some relationship issues. I found the tapping helpful with dealing with the anxiety. I'm eating too much of the wrong foods because of it.”

“these techniques center my soul and remove negative thought patterns so I am able to focus on the things I want in my life rather than the things I don't”

These tapping procedures can help you gain emotional freedom, relief from stress and many other negative emotions. They are free, on our web site, www.RogerCallahan.com. Prevent burnout during this holiday season and get your copy of our free Daily Stress Busting Program.

Fränzi Ng - Transformation Specialist, Centre for Extraordinary Living

Do you remember the days when thinking about the Holidays filled your heart with excitement, your eyes with brilliance, your mind with expectation, and your tummy with dancing butterflies?

You may be wondering: what happened?!

If the same thought now fills you with more anxiety than joy, you are probably not alone. Crowded malls, company dinners, short daylight hours and the swine flu dread don’t help to lift the mood and cause that feeling of anxiety.

If you wish to experience peace of mind and balance even in the weeks to come, you will find the following three simple tips, from the amazing world of Thought Field Therapy, most useful:

* Watch what you eat. My primary concern here is not that you might gain weight if indulging in too many treats. Instead, I caution you to be aware of the Food-Mood Connection. When delicacies of every sort are amply available it is only too easy to overindulge in food stuff that may not agree with you. This can manifest physically in discomfort, even pain, as well as breathing and sleeping difficulties. Emotionally, too much of a good thing can show up in irritability, anxiety and depression. The Food-Mood connection is very real. It is not uncommon for clients to tell me that they feel sad and down after too much chocolate, or hypersensitive and angry after eating yet another cookie. Therefore, limit your food indulgences. Notice what you eat. Your waist line and your balanced, content mood will be your reward.

* Nip stress in the bud: Don’t let stress build up. Don’t wait until you reach the breaking point before you do something. It is so easy to eliminate all stress and anxiety with TFT. Just follow my TFT workout video, “The TFT Power Ritual,” below. Use it under the following circumstances.

* Tap in the morning. Think about the day/s and week/s ahead and tune into all your responsibilities, expectations and past experiences (e.g. traumas). Rate your level of upset on a scale from 0 to 10 (0 = no stress, 10 = extreme stress) and tap along with me on the video.

* Tap before going to bed. Think about the day you had, everything that was said, everything that happened and rate your level of upset, tension or anxiety. Now tap by following the video.

* Tap before you eat. Never, never eat from a place of anxiety. If nothing else, commit to yourself for the next few weeks that you will only eat when you are stress and anxiety FREE. Become aware of the tension in your body or the conversations in your head. Rate their intensity, then tap with the video. By doing so, you will be able to eat from a place of peace so you can actually notice what you are eating. People tell me that the food tastes better and that they need less of it to feel satisfied. Remember it’s not what you are eating - it’s what’s eating you. Get that out of the way and your meal becomes again a nourishing feast for body, mind and spirit.

* Food or Addiction? If you use Holiday treats as fuel to keep you going (similar to caffeine), you are probably under a lot of stress. There may even be an underlying addiction to these foods, an addiction you may not be aware of – not until you stop eating the treat. If you experience strong cravings, if you feel you just can’t do without a certain food, rate the intensity and use “The TFT Power Ritual” to eliminate the craving.

Implementing these ideas takes a bit of discipline. I know. And it is this discipline that will set you free. The Bible says that the meek shall inherit the world. Unfortunately, the word “praos” (meek) was translated incorrectly. A much better translation is “disciplined.” It is the disciplined that shall inherit the world, those who just do it.

These simple steps, when followed consistently, allow you to move from survival mode to thrive mode, despite whatever might be happening around you.
