I am a 75 year old Catholic nun and I have a heart problem, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension and fast heart rate and a stroke. I could not walk without a walker or a cane and I am always tired and have no energy. I have no quality of life and I frequently get depressed that I cannot do anything. My doctor told me that I am a challenge to medicine. I have tried all kinds of medications for my problems but I could not tolerate most. I am just getting weaker and weaker.

My doctor called my attention to the book “Tapping the Healer Within.” by Dr. Roger Callahan. I went to buy it and starting reading. When I finished I felt that this is something that could help my problems. I called the TFT office and inquired more about Dr. Callahan. I was told that Dr. and Mrs. Callahan were in London. The secretary e-mailed Mrs. Callahan about my problems. I was touched by Mrs. Callahan’s response from London telling me to call her on her return from Europe. I had the privilege to talk to her and she said she would try to find someone nearby that could assist me.

I called her back to see if she found someone and she highly recommended Mrs. Christina Mayhew Dx, an advance coach of TFT. I connected with Christina and without delay she sent me the Thought Field Therapy Client Intake Sheet.

On June 15 she went through the lists to check my sensitivities to all the items going in and on my body, food, laundry detergent and other things. I followed her instructions religiously. She guided me on the treatment for toxin the next day. Then to my surprise, after two days I was able to walk slowly to receive Holy Communion without any help, which I could not do before. So I am very grateful to TFT.

Every two weeks, I have my blood test for Coumadin. I would bleed after the removal of the needle for several minutes. This time there was no prolonged bleeding and they were surprised. My blood pressure and pulse rate are also normal now.

My coach has more work to do with me checking the toxin. She is very good and I am very grateful for the present improvements. For me personally, I strongly feel that TFT is the answer to my challenges in my present condition. As I said we still have more to do but I am very optimistic that TFT will restore my quality of life in the near future.

So I want to thank Dr. & Mrs. Callahan for providing us a wonderful and effective harmless tool for a better life. May God bless them and my coach, Christina Mayhew for this wonderful God given gifts.

With grateful love and prayers,
Sr. Mercy, O.C.D.

By Noël Battal & Natasja Looman, Deventer, the Netherlands

First, we wish to offer our congratulations to Roger and Joanne for their ACEP Award!

In May 2010 we attended the Optimal Health course in London, England. We were very curious about Voice Technology and we were thrilled to learn that technique from Roger and Joanne! It was really a wonderful course.

At Saturday (our second course day) everybody had to practice VT over the phone in front of the group under supervision from Roger and Joanne. We had to choose a volunteer who we could call for a VT treatment. We asked our Mum in the Netherlands if we could practice on her and that was all right with her.

Our Mum had a fear of water since she was a little child (she’s now 63 years old). She only could handle water up to her knees. If the water came above her knees she would have a panic attack with hyperventilation. Walking with only her feet in the sea was okay, but when a wave came, she got frozen, her eyes got very big and she got very scared. Sitting in a boat was never an option for her, and neither was swimming. Even when she imagined that she could fall in the water, she would get a very fast heartbeat, she felt dizzy, and would start to breath very fast, and nearly get a panic attack.

We really wanted to help her with this fear, but we thought that this case was to complex and to difficult for a first VT practice as our Mum had this fear for nearly 60 years! So we asked Roger and Joanne if this case was too difficult to start with, but they say: “do not say something is too difficult, just try it! And, remember Roger’s first TFT case was also with a fear for water (Mary’s case)”.

So we called our mother in the Netherlands for a VT session and asked her to work on her fear for water. She said ”Oh if I could lose that fear…, is that really possible?”

So we started our VT session with her thinking about the water is coming above her knees. Her SUD was a 10+. We analyzed her voice and corrected her PR, after that we got a sequence with 5 treatment points. After having her do the whole holon, we asked her again to concentrate on the water coming above her knees and asked her SUD. She said “I don’t feel anything”, we thought that she was not focusing good enough so we said “Mum, please concentrate on the water” Again she said “I do, but I don’t feel anything”. So we said: “Mum, imagine the water is coming up to your head and above your head …” She said: “I imagine that, but I don’t feel anything”.

We were very confused and thought she may not be a good volunteer. Joanne stood up and said to us “Just believe her! Your mother doesn’t have an apex problem, but you do!” So we thanked our mum for being our volunteer and finished our VT session. In the evening we called her again, to check her SUD and it was still a zero. The next morning we called her again, because we couldn’t believe it ourselves! We surely had an apex problem ourselves, how could this 60 year old fear be gone in just one holon? The whole week after the VT treatment we called our mum and every time we spoke to her we expected her to say “well, the fear has come back”, but she didn’t! She too was very excited!

After one week she was on vacation with my our dad and afterwards our mum called us, she said “I have something to tell you” we thought ‘oh no the fear has come back?’ But it didn’t, she told us that her fear for heights has gone too after her VT treatment for water! For the first time in her life she was sitting in a gondola, she did it like it was very normal to her, but the surprised face of our dad reminded her that it wasn’t normal before. After ten days our apex problem finally disappeared and we realize that this technique is really amazing! We use it on a daily basis for ourselves and we practice it a lot on clients. Now we really have the feeling that we are helping people and ourselves.

We recommend it to everyone who really wants to make a difference in the world and in their own life.

I am thrilled and honored to have learned about Thought Field Therapy. The TFT teleclass is one of the best training experiences and investments I have ever made.

The teleclass provided fantastic insight and guidance into the TFT algorithms and usage. I highly recommend everyone learn TFT and put it too good use. TFT can do wonders for you. Now, perhaps you are wondering why I am so excited about Thought Field Therapy. I hope that after reading about my situation and the help TFT has given me, you too will give it a try.

In January 2005 I went sledding down my street. Part way down the steep hill the snow become solid ice. I was unable to steer or stop and slid head first into the bumper of a parked mini-van. I suffered such a bad head injury that I barely made it to the hospital alive. If it took 20 minutes longer, it would have been too late. I was put into a medical coma for 10 days and have a two month period that I do not remember anything from.

With great medical care, support from my family, and post-hospital rehabilitation I finally returned to full time work after 8 months. I am nearly fully recovered other than I had lost 100% of my sense of smell. Medical professionals told me that the loss of smell is not an unusual occurrence after the type of brain injury I had. I was informed that I would never recover my sense of smell.

For five years, it was correct. I did not smell anything. However, in January 2010 I took the TFT teleclass and was given a customized Thought Field Therapy algorithm, from Dr. Roger Callahan, to regain my sense of smell. It is amazing the capability Roger has developed with TFT and Voice Technology. I have used the algorithm (((a, mf, tf, e, g50, eb) 9g) sq) at least 15 times a day for 40 consecutive days (20+ times for 35 of those 40 days).

After the 30th day, I was startled and pleasantly surprised to notice the air all of a sudden seemed different as walked down the indoor hallway near the building cafeteria. It took me a bit to realize I was actually smelling something again. After 5 years, I had sort of forgotten what that was like. In the days since then I have had other occasional instances of smelling things. My sense of smell is not yet 100% back, but I am thrilled to have what I was told could never happen actually occur. TFT has made this possible.

Roger originally explained I would need to follow this 15+ times a day regimen for many weeks. It only takes a minute to execute the algorithm and it can be anytime throughout the day. I gladly and enthusiastically continue applying TFT to further regain my sense of smell. This is much better than five years of thinking I would never smell again. Use TFT it really works. In addition to this more extensive usage, I have also used different TFT algorithms to alleviate other worries and anxieties.

We have a preliminary report of the progress being made following our ATFT Trauma Relief interventions this August in Byumba, Rwanda. We are attaching the draft that we received from Brother Augustine. The report sent by Brother Augustine, summarizes the reports sent in by each of the thirty-six therapists we trained this August. The therapist’s reports had to be translated from Kinyarwanda to English by Brother Augustine, and this report, attached, contains the responses thus far translated. It is a busy season now in Rwanda and we may get a more complete summary sometime early next year.

It is good to know that the thirty- six therapist the ATFT Team trained have treated 622 people since our departure at the end of August. That is in addition to the 200 plus persons treated by the Rwandan therapists while we were there. It seems that TFT is making a big difference in the lives of the therapist’s, in the lives of those whose lives the therapists touch, and in the larger communities in which they live.

Good work ATFT members! All of you have helped in some really significant way. Thanks especially to team members, Caroline Sakai, Gordon Barrett, Carmen Carrasco, Gary and Cyndie Quinn.

Happy Holidays!

3.	DID YOU FEEL THAT THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE PEOPLE’S LIVES THAT YOU WORKED WITH? PLEASE TELL US ABOUT THIS. WHY OR WHY NOT? WHEN DID IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND WHEN DID IT NOT?

•	There is a big difference after treatment using TFT. There is much improvement after treatment. Students thought it was a joke, but as time went on they found I was not joking and they started using it seriously.

•	The difference is vivid. I keep on watching on my clients after treating them and I observed big positive change in their lives.

•	The difference is clear. For example, there is a client who used not to talk and now that client can talk after the TFT treatment.

•	TFT made really a difference in the people’s lives. You treat a person and after you teach him/her how s/he can treat him/herself.

•	People are happy. For instance, there is a client who told me that the nightmares and other strange images disappeared after treatment.

•	My clients tell me that there is much positive change. The majority got cured and those who were not completely healed still use the algorithms I taught them according to their trauma.

•	TFT brought big difference in my clients’ lives. For instance, one client told me that depression was very deep to the point of wanting to commit suicide, but after being treated with TFT the depression disappeared for good.

•	TFT made a difference in the people’s lives I worked with. Many times my clients were depressed, and their anger could be seen on their faces, without happiness, even some of them were screaming before I started treating them. After treating them I was surprised to see their faces changing, they started rejoicing and laughing.

•	The people I worked with gave testimonies of the wonders brought into their lives by TFT treatment. They are now doing their developmental works with confidence of a prosperous future. They used to fear interacting with other people but now they mix freely and socialize with others.

4.	WERE THE PEOPLE YOU TREATED PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS THEY ACHIEVED BY USING TFT? PLEASE TELL US ABOUT THIS.

•	Yes, they were all pleased with the results they achieved by using TFT. But, as I dealt with students, some of them were laughing at me in the beginning until they realized that TFT is helping them in their trauma problems.

•	Yes, the people I treated were happy after treatment. When their trauma comes again the clients come back to me with much confidence to be treated, others come to ask me the appropriate algorithms to use in order to treat themselves.
•	The clients I treated were pleased with what I did for them using TFT. Some of the people I treated told me they will help their neighbors who also have trauma.

•	People have found the treatment of their trauma problems in their homes, and this treatment is effective in a very short time.
•	I treat people and they go back spreading the good news brought to them by TFT.

•	I treated my clients and taught them to treat themselves, and now I am happy with them. They tell me that they are also treating their family members using TFT
•	Yes. The people I treated were and are still pleased with TFT results. Imagine to see a person who had lost his/her laughter laughing again, a person who was living in loneliness recovering from that loneliness, a person who had lost his sleep sleeping again, a person with nightmares getting again hi/her normal sleep, etc.!

•	About my using of TFT, it is clear that treating my clients using TFT yielded and is still yielding much fruits and people are pleased with this.

5.	DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR USING THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY TO HELP INDIVIDUALS IN YOUR COMMUNITY MADE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY? PLEASE DESCRIBE WHY OR WHY NOT.

•	So far I am working in a boarding school and I have not yet gone outside the school to treat the people who are not students.

•	Yes, my community is happy of TFT. For instance, there is a wife who used to quarrel with her husband, but after treating them using TFT there is peace in their family.

•	The community is happy with TFT. For example, there are some people who lived desperately but now are no longer living in loneliness.

•	Yes, there is happiness in the community in which I work because they know I live with them and I am there for them.

•	Stating myself as a vivid example, I was one of the people suffering from trauma. I treated myself and I pushed ahead to treat other people. We are all better.

•	TFT solved the disputes in the families.

•	Using TFT brought a positive change, especially at my working place.

•	Yes, my using TFT to help individuals in my community made a difference in my community. This is because the problems of one person in the community affect in a way or in another the whole community. For instance, when a person is traumatized, lonely, depressed, selfish and guilty, that person cannot develop his/her community as long as s/he is not yet freed from those problems.

•	TFT helped individuals in my community finding solutions to different trauma based problems and this made and is still making positive impact in my community.

6.	IS THERE ANYTHING MORE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE THESE THREE MONTHS USING THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY TO HELP OTHERS?

•	In truth, my experience is not yet very high. As I am working with students, time came for them to start long holidays and this made me not continue practicing TFT in order to up bring my practical skills.

•	TFT is a lasting solution to the problems caused by trauma, but the people I treat are scattered in the hills. If I could find means to transport, I am sure my service can yield more fruits that those I have so far yielded.

•	TFT is helping our people. People’s trauma is decreasing and there is much improvement in people’s lives.

•	It would be very beneficial for both therapists and clients if trained Rwandan therapists could also be trained in counseling in order to integrate it with TFT in treating trauma.

•	Today in my community it is not a surprise to see people being freed from their trauma using TFT.

•	I am now able to treat many people in a very short time with much confidence.

•	What I can say in addition to what I have said so far is that I am living myself in a continual surprise of the effects of TFT to my clients.

•	I am neither a medical doctor nor a psychologist by profession, but I see with my proper eyes people getting healed from their trauma and some other psychological problems.

•	The clients give testimonies of their relief and this makes people like TFT.

•	Thanks be to God that ATFT is a nonprofit association. If it were not, I would call it an up-to-date self funding organization. It brings satisfaction to us to see many people revering us simply because we are bringing positive change into peoples’ lives.

•	Trained Rwandan therapists deserve advanced training both in TFT and in Guidance and Counseling to keep high their performance.
Thanks

As a follow-up to my recent post “Tap Away Holiday Stress and Anxiety”, I wanted to share a note of thanks from someone who did tap away their holiday stresses.

“I feel differently today….I would call it ‘normal’.

I got up at 5:30 am and I just finished making 4 pies (I volunteered to bring 2) and a triple batch of salad.

Normally, my kitchen would be a HUGE disaster once I was done making food for a holiday, but it’s completely clean and orderly and it fees awesome to have no anxiety, just a calm feeling!

Thank you for my BEST Thanksgiving yet!

Another strange thing is….. I am not even checking my e-mails or looking at the newspaper to see who has what on sale for Black Friday! So that alone is incredible!

I am more interested in looking at how to do my daily strengthening routine you gave me to do for the next 2 weeks.

Thanks again!”

BY DR. DARIAH MORGAN,
TFT-dx, TFT-Adv

I returned home on the afternoon of Thursday, September 24 and was greeted by the familiar red flash of my voice mail recorder.

“This is Jane Blume, Dariah… I did it, Dariah, I went over the edge! It was a struggle, a real struggle, because I had to press the guide rope with my nondominant hand, but I did it! I actually stepped off a 16 story building and rappelled down the side!”

Jane is a KUNM radio programmer in Albuquerque, NM whom my husband, Bruce, and I met during a TFT workshop that we did in Albuquerque in August. She is 66 years young, a recent grandmother, owner of Desert Sky Communications and became a widow two years ago after 44 years of marriage. “Well, do I curl up in a corner in a fetal position, or do I go out and embrace life?”, she asked herself at that time.

Rappelling down the side of a 230 foot building in downtown Albuquerque to raise money for Special Olympics New Mexico looked like embracing life to Jane, so she became the first media personality to sign up for the challenge, entitled “Over the Edge”.

Shortly after making her commitment, she called me for some TFT assistance. After two brief phone consultations, Jane was ready for the big day.

One of only two women to rappel, she had this to say at the end of her phone message….

”I have been featured on the news here…my picture (there were actually two) will be on the front page of the metro section of the Albuquerque Journal, people felt inspired, I feel inspired! I used the TFT techniques you taught me for an hour before stepping off the building! I am grateful for your help! You helped me with my intention to live fearlessly! I could not have done this without you! Thank you!”

There is a popular inspirational plaque that asks, “What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?” Perhaps it should read, “What would you attempt to do if you knew you could conquer your fears and accomplish things no one, including yourself, ever thought possible?”

TFT opens the door of living fearlessly to all of us!

Growing up, I was horribly afraid of my own shadow, strangers and public places. As a little child, I used to hide under my bed when company came and if we went out in public, I was stuck to my mom as a third leg. I have no clue what caused that fear and my parents can’t think of any trauma that happened to me. They just thought I was a very shy child.

In school, I’d have myself sick worrying about having to give a speech in front of the class or sing a recital with the choir in front of the parents. I always chose to be the person behind the scene and not the one in the spot light. I remember my body would shake, my heart would race, my mind went to mush and I’d turn bright red in the face. I didn’t even like to go anywhere by myself, especially if I didn’t know anyone else. Any new environment or change would be painful for me because I’d worry myself to the point that exhaustion.

When it came to my job or owning my own business, I knew I had to get rid of this ridiculous fear. I tried everything I could think of like therapy, desensitizing myself by forcing myself to go out to public places, acupuncture, Reiki, hypnosis, self help books and tapes. I think I tried it all. Along the way, those things did help yet their was always a lot of anxiety attached to going out and having to speak in front of people.

My husband and I did marriage prep for our church and there would be times that I thought my heart would jump through my throat or I got light headed when I had to read my part. I kept praying to God to get me through it. Afterwards, I’d be totally exhausted as if I’d run a marathon.

I’ve been in the construction industry for 28 years and have owned my own commercial/residential interior renovation company. Being a female in the construction industry has had its challenges yet there are many rewards as well. This business really toughened me up. Being in a typically “man’s” world and having to prove myself gave me the incentive to start working through my fears. I had to be around all kinds of people and clients through the years. I would never say it didn’t bother me, I just learned how to hide it under many masks.

There were times I literally wanted to throw up right before having to present to a construction board or to a discussion panel on various issues. Somehow I managed to get through it even though I was a wreck.

I experienced “Sick Building Syndrome” several times of the years where the toxins in buildings were so great, it put my immune system in overload and I ended up very sick.

Again, through many different types of conventional and non-conventional methods, I had to rebuild my health. It became my passion to educate people about the dangers of toxins that lurk in our homes and work places. There was just one little problem. I couldn’t get over my fear of speaking so I turned down many opportunities to speak.

I mostly would talk educate on a very small scale with 2 or 3 people. Word started spreading about my work and I started getting more venues invite me to speak.

In June of 08 I met Joanne Callahan at a mastermind summit and for the first time Thought Field Therapy was introduced to me. I remember her working on two clients using this “weird” tapping thing. I went home and purchased the book “Tapping the Healer Within” and a whole new world opened up to me.

I knew I had finally found a way to safely and natural way to eliminate my fears so that I could live the full life I desired.

In January of 2009 I received a call from an architect who was putting a panel together for a presentation at the Facility Manager Convention in Baltimore. The topic was “How Air Quality and Environmental Quality affects Employee Productivity”.

I was excited and honored to be asked and before I thought about it I said “Sure, I’d love to”. Then I hung up the phone and about had a heart attack when I realized this was a national convention with thousands of people. I had never given a speech like this before let alone at a convention with thousands of people. I was almost paralyzed in fear and ready to call her back and cancel. I had two weeks to put the presentation together and the entire two weeks I kept using the anxiety/stress algorithm from the book.

The day before the presentation I was a wreck and couldn’t stop shaking and my voice was wavering and I had a migraine. I just knew I couldn’t speak feeling like this.

I called doctor Callahan and had a session to work on my fear of public speaking. Over the phone through Voice Technology, Dr. Callahan created a specific series of tapping just for my immediate problem. As I did the tapping sequence he gave to me it was amazing to feel the changes going on in my body. The shaking started to subside, my heart started beating regularly, the red rash started to clear up just in minutes of doing the tapping. He got me from a 10 down to a 4 in just 15 minutes. Then, next thing I knew, I was back up to a 10 and feeling horrible. Dr. Callahan asked what just happened. I told him I hadn’t moved from the spot in my bedroom. He told me something changed and asked did anyone come into the room. I told him my son did to get some money from me. He asked me what is he wearing. I though the meant clothes so I started explaining that. Dr. Callahan then asked if he was wearing any cologne or other scent on. I said he always wears this one cologne which bothers me. He checked and said that his cologne was so toxic to me that it through me into a reversal which brought the fear back. Dr. Callahan had me do a breathing exercise to neutralize the toxin in my system.

Within minutes I started feeling. He got me back down to a 5 when my husband walked in the room and then it went back up to a 10 again. Again, Dr. Callahan asked what just happened. I told him my husband walked in the room. He asked did he have cologne on. I said no he knows not to wear anything around me since I’m so sensitive. Dr. Callahan said he had something on that was toxic to me. Just about then, I got his scent and realized he must have been near my son’s cologne. That cologne was so toxic to me that the residual scent in the house was still strong enough to throw me back into a reversal. Once again, we did the breathing exercise and went back to the tapping. After 35 minutes, Dr. Callahan was able to help me reduce my fear from a 10 to a 1. Dr. Callahan told me to take the tapping sequence with me to the convention and just before I went on stage, do the sequence again. I followed his direction and just before I went on stage I snuck into the ladies room and did the tapping.

It was the most amazing experience. At the last minute the room was changed to another one and the stage was set up differently than I had practiced on during lunch time. One of my videos didn’t load properly when the IT guy set me up so it wouldn’t play so I had to just talk about it. Then at the end, I had an Environmental Hygienist challenge me about some things I brought up in my talk. I was in disbelief that I was able to not only hold my own in spite of the challenges, I felt empowered and great.

At that point, I knew that this life long crippling fear was a thing of the past and I was now set free to go out and educate people on how to build healthier lives at home and their workplace by teaching them about toxins and their affect on our bodies and how TFT is a most wonderful, safe and natural way to eliminate fears and anxieties.

Thank you Dr. Callahan for teaching me TFT and allow a whole new world to open up to me in my healing and construction journey.

by Nora J. Baladerian, Ph.D.

This letter was written to me one week after I did a pain treatment for a friend. This treatment arose from a casual conversation. I have known this person for about one year, and we are likely to be lifelong friends, as our commitment to helping individuals with disabilities who have become victims of crime unites us. As you will read, her exposure to TFT was completely unexpected, and she had a profound and life-changing experience.

After reading her words, I’ll tell you more of what happened… “Dr. Nora”

A Letter from My Heart…October 8, 2009

Hello! For those who know me well, you know something about the pain I have had over the past ten years. Those who know me really well know I am not an overly emotional type of person. I tend to keep my emotions to myself. But, as I relate this story I have tears of joy running down my cheeks.

For those who do not know me, I am a Forensic Nurse. I have worked over 20 years in the field of nursing, and am extremely interested in the medical world…thus, I am continually working to learn more to hone my skills and add certifications to my credentials.

History

I am a person who has lived with moderate to severe chronic pain for what will be 10 years this November 13. On that date in 1998 I was studying for the required ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) in our hospital in-service area, while working as a recovery room/short stay nurse. After about an hour of studying “rhythm strips” and identifying the condition, I stretched my arms up into the air, and as the chair I sat in (a four wheeled steno-chair) flipped backwards, instinctively I put my right arm out to brace my fall.

My right shoulder dislocated, and then snapped back into place causing an immediate sensation of electrical “nerve like” pain, a feeling that made my hand feel fat and my entire arm, from the brachial plexus to the elbow and then ending into the palm of my right hand, hum. The electrical “zinging” down my arm was present and never went away. I also felt a sensation like my arm was falling out of its socket.

It is now, after two surgeries, 9 years of physical therapy, a trip to see a brachial plexus expert at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, 8 years of acupuncture, 9 years of Pilates, 7 years of massage and an on-going home pain management with Oxycontin, Vicodin, Flexeril, and other modalities such as Tea Tree Pain Gel, ice, heat and more massage that I am writing to you.

After all that treatment, I have still lived each day with the same searing electrical pain running down my arm non-stop.

The Story

On October 1, 2009, I was attending a conference in Denver Colorado. In the evening I was walking back to our hotel with my fellow presenter, Dr. Nora Baladerian, a psychologist from California. This followed a wonderful afternoon spent with Nora and our co-presenter, enjoying a calming afternoon of wine, massage, tea and friendship, and after we’d briefly visited a reception hosted by Arc of Aurora for the speakers at the conference. We were freezing our butts off in the cold, windy typical late Fall Denver night! We made it back to the lobby of our hotel, arm in arm and laughing at the great time we had just had.

I told Nora, how this cold really makes “that pain” in my arm hurt like a son of a gun. She asked, “what pain?” as I had not told her much about the pain before. She says, “Well let’s just sit down here– is this is ok?” (We had just entered the lobby of our gorgeous hotel). “I’d like to try something on you for that pain” and I respond, “Sure, as long as I can keep my clothes on”. We both laughed and sat down.

So while I went along with what Nora suggested I do, the cynical portion of my very medical-model brain was trying not to laugh out loud. “Really,” I think, “After all I have been through, I will never respond to anything”. However, I am also a person who has lived in never ending chronic “nerve” pain the past almost 10 years, and I am desperate for ANYTHING to make it go away. Really! Just ask my wonderful husband. He can’t count how often I have asked him to get his chain saw and “just saw my arm off,” convinced that that would make my constant humming, zinging pain go away once and for all, and he never would!

So here I am in the lobby of the hotel, doing what Nora is telling me to do (while she does it to herself as a demonstration, I guess), tapping on myself (the back of my hand and collarbone area) and really thinking about this pain I have known for so, so long. I was even rating it in my mind, an 8 right now on the 0-10 but was a 6 earlier before it got so damn cold.

I follow Nora’s directions without regard or thought that it was going to work, or do anything whatsoever for that matter.

BUT I WAS WRONG! MY PAIN IS GONE!! I can tell you that I no longer have the nerve racking “nerve pain” in my hand, elbow and shoulder. My hand no longer feels clumsy and fat. My fingers are still a bit swollen but they are now the same color as my other hand. I still am having some phantom type signals when I raise my arm or place my hand in cold water, anticipating the pain in my mind, but when actually lifting my arm or dousing my hand, NO PAIN! I can actually raise my arm!

So for anyone with physical, emotional or psychological problems I recommend this therapy called Thought Field Therapy. I am now 1 week and many days post-treatment, and the pain I had for ten years is not back. After approximately 5 minutes of Thought Field Therapy!! I am looking forward to my water aerobics this week and for the first time being able to perform the routine without right shoulder, arm and hand pain. As I write this I am also working on lowering my blood pressure. I used the tapping therapy and treated myself, taking the pain and arthritis from my toes; I healed a Left ear tinnitus and calmed my granddaughter down from a nearly inconsolable state. I am convinced this works, I am not sure how or why, but it does. It simply does.

Submitted anonymously.

On the phone she continues to tell me of other treatments she has done now at home. She has become a complete advocate of TFT, and is thrilled with her own new freedom from unrelenting pain.

There in the lobby, I had asked her to focus on the pain. It turned out that it hurt worst in the hand, so we focused there, where the pain was “off the charts”, she rated as an 8. I administered g50, c, and asked to rerate. She said, “ I can’t believe it…it is at point five!”

She burst into tears, sobbing on my shoulder, brokenly saying, “I’m ok, these are tears of joy, of relief…I can’t believe it”. She then started moving her fingers and hand, giving her hand a test run as it were.

“Do you have pain anywhere else?”, I asked. “Ooooooh YES”, she said.

We proceeded to treat her severe chronic pain in the elbow region and the upper arm and shoulder. Each time she only required g50,c to release the pain. I never got to do 9g with her, as the pain immediately was released from her body. There were more tears, and extreme gratitude. She said if she had it she would give me a million dollars!

What gift can I give you…this is wonderful! I told her the best possible gift would be for her to learn TFT and “spread the word and the healing”.

So, we left to got to our rooms and enjoy some nice quiet time and in-room dining. On the way to the elevator we encountered a small group of folks, so I introduced her to them. After introductions she exclaimed, “OH MY GOD!!!!! It didn’t hurt! Shaking hands did not hurt!!! Oh My God”… This is the first time in ten years that I can shake hands and it doesn’t hurt!!!!! Nora just did a treatment on me for my severe chronic pain and…” she was unable to finish as one in the group interrupted with “Oh, the tapping? Yes, she did it on me a few years ago in Michigan for some problems I was having with being so angry, frustrated and upset, and it worked!!!.”

The following day when I arrived at the breakfast area, the Forensic Nurse was talking with some other folks. When I approached one said, “Your ears must be burning!!” while another reached out and grabbed me saying, “I need you!!! I have had terrible pain in my feet, can you help?” So, we treated her, bringing her plantar fascia pain from an 8 to a 0. So, we had another happy camper.

All told, it was magical, yet not magic. Simply the application of the algorithms that are appropriate for the problem.

Thank you, again, Roger, for your amazing discovery.

A Daily Stress Busting Program To Help You Quit The Coffee Habit, Create Calm, and Reduce Your Blood Pressure.

If you haven’t downloaded your copy of the free Daily Stress Busting Program, isn’t it time to do so?

We just received another thank-you note from one of our customers. She just began using the Stress Busting Program and is already seeing results on herself and her family.

Betty reports, “After using both the Trauma and Stress Busting downloads I immediately read and used them on myself practicing so I could use them on my Mother and a friend in Calif. who just lost her job. Just practicing the tapping sequence on myself and not really tuning in to a specific problem but more the sequence I was able to quit my coffee habit that I have been trying to quit for 4 months now.”

She also reported benefits for her mother, “I feel real calm just using the Collarbone Breathing with my Mom but I get the benefits as well. We are working on a physical problem of 2 leaking mitral valves so I did the Trauma recipes and the Stress recipes on her it seems to help her blood pressure.”

Remember how important it is to eliminate stress. Our health depends on it. Look at what some of the leading health care authorities say about stress:

•	CDC – stress is cause of 90% of all illnesses
•	Stanford Medical School – 95% of all illness is stress related
•	Mayo Clinic – just watching 10” minutes of today’s news disrupts many body systems
•	Cleveland Clinic – chronic stress leads to many diseases
•	Harvard School of Medicine – illness is the tip of the iceberg, stress mars joy from life and loved ones

Obviously, we are not the only ones noticing this and the devastating effect it is having on our well-being. I was on another call last night about health care issues and they were stating many of the same facts and data.

The doctor leading the call also focused on stress as the major cause of illness, relationship problems, and, financial security.

He went on to say that stress causes five things:

Poor health

Fatigue/tiredness

Dumbs us down – pulls blood flow from higher brain functions

Causes pessimism and negativism

Causes failure – due to 1-4

We all want to feel good, have lots of energy, be alert and on top of our game, positive and upbeat and succeed in all we do. TFT can be a tool to address all these areas. Click here to go and get your free Daily Stress Busting Program now.

I’d like to send a thank-you to you and to Roger for the great work you both do and for Tapping the Healer Within.

Since I had my kids I’ve not been the best flyer, but on a recent trip to Canada (a long haul – 6 flights in one week!) I used TFT algorithms to conquer my fears and to avoid jet lag.

I’m so pleased to say I enjoyed each and every flight and was able to admire the Rockies from my window seat! (I simply wouldn’t have sat there before).

On arrival and on my return I was completely free of jet lag.

I’ve been telling everyone about it since – tweeting too!

Best to you,

I have been using EFT a lot and all my children know it but I thought there might be something a little less cumbersome, so I decided to purchase the TFT Love Pain DVD.

Love Pain put to the test.. here’s one of our customer’s story:

I bought the Love Pain DVD as my 20 year old son was absolutely distraught after his girlfriend broke it off the other day.

He was miserable and sobbing and even said he felt like he was ill.

I have been using EFT a lot and all my children know it but I thought there might be something a little less cumbersome, so I decided to purchase the TFT Love Pain DVD.

While the DVD was downloading I opened the e-book that came with it and had him sit with me while I instructed him with the tapping points.

He started out at a 10 and by the time he had gotten to the under arm point he had already felt the intensity of his grief fade. When we were done with the protocol he was quite amazed and said “How does this stuff work?”

It had gone down to a 5. The next round we did included the gamut and it went to a 3, and the next round with the gamut and ending with the eye roll and it went to a 1 or 2.

He felt like he was cheating so I explained that it was not cheating, what it was doing was actually clearing the intense emotions to enable him to think and operate from a more rational perspective.

Once the DVD had downloaded and he made it bigger we watched it together. At the end he was still feeling some of the pain – I guess different aspects were coming up – so we did the protocol a few more times which bought his pain down to about a 2, having started at about a 10 – it was to do with just wanting to be with her. He was still a bit weepy when he went to bed and I went off to bed and found that I was feeling very tearful and sad for him, so I did the protocol a few times and it just melted away.

He has continued to use the tapping and I am really pleased and relieved to say that he is feeling enormous relief. He still feels the sadness a bit but it is not the gut/heart wrenching sadness that he was experiencing on Sunday, which is when she broke it off.

So, a great big hug and a thank you to Roger Callahan and I guess one cannot forget accolades to ‘God’, ‘The Universe’, whatever it is that makes the sun shine and the trees grow.

Regards

By Rosemarie Solarz, Maryland

The story I am about to tell is perhaps one that a lot of people can relate to. Fear of snakes!

Having a brother that frequently brought home creepy crawlers of any kind, made my life uneasy at a very early age. Family camping trips were never fun for me, I was always fearful of us coming across one, dead or alive, and have my brother tease me by threatening to throw it at me.

Looking back now I can see the controlling effect the fear of snakes had on me.

Spring is the most difficult time for me because of my phobia. The fear of the snakes coming out of hibernation kept me from doing the things I love in the yard.

Remembering back to the times when there would be the annual field trip to the local zoo and I would chaperon.

Each time when it came time to visit the snake house, I would have to have one of the other mothers include my group with hers. I could not bring myself to even go near the place.

There are no words adequately enough to express the depth of fear I had at just the mention of the word snake.

When I was first approached to consider a new concept in treating phobias with Thought Field Therapy, I honestly was skeptical. I was told that it would not take long, perhaps five to fifteen minutes of my time, no cost to me, and painless!

I laughed it off and walked away, since I did not want to face the issue of my phobia.

Two weeks went by before I was again asked if I would like to get rid of my fear of snakes.

Finally I consented. I first asked if I had to touch one or it be in the same room I was in because if I did, no deal!

Assured there would not be any snakes involved, the process began.

I was first told to think about snakes and rate my fear on a scale of one to ten. The mere word snake set me in a tailspin. I immediately felt sick to my stomach, heart beating very rapidly, felt faint, head began to ache, sweaty palms and down right scared to death not knowing what I had done to myself. As far as I was concerned, ten was not a high enough number to express my pain.

The therapy began and it was hard for me to concentrate on the instructions I was given at first because of all my physical pain I was experiencing.

The time went by quickly, what seemed like minutes to me, took all of twelve minutes all toll for the therapy to end.

The transformation in my mind and body was unbelievable. I felt as if a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulder. Or I had just awakened from a ten hour sleep, very refreshed and happy.

To my utter disbelieve the fear was gone. I can not only say the word snake and not go into my usual physical pain; I can now look at pictures about them, watch movies about them and read books about them with my grandchildren.

The technique Dr. Callahan has developed for ridding phobias for people like me is so unique; I wish I had had the opportunity to have done so long ago.

I want to express to all that still suffer from some type of phobia to take a step in faith and give TFT a try. You have nothing to loose, a few minutes of your time can change your life.

TFT Sucess Stories by Bruce Ramsey, CTS,TFT DX

I have been promising you for too long that I would share some of the success stories in my use of TFT.

Let me begin with how I got to learning TFT.

I am a retired fire fighter and suffered some major traumas in my career including a fire that occurred in a previous place of employment. I attended as a fire fighter and was witness to fire deaths of nine of my friends. As a result of that I became interested in Critical Incident Stress Management.

I began teaching that and over a period of about five years became an authorized trauma trainer and a Certified Traumatologist from Florida State University. I was asked in the mid 90’s if I thought that the training was applicable for fire fighters in a unique cultural setting- that being First Nations’ communities in Canada. Of course in the USA the terminology would be native American or Indian.

I began teaching CISM for these small and often remote communities. What I learned very quickly was that all the trauma of our society happens in small communities too-car accidents, sudden death, drowning etc. The greatest difference is that most of the communities I traveled to had a severe shortage of psychological support.

In addition, as a result of acculturation, there is also a restricted level of traditional and ritual healing.

The levels of trauma are severe to say the least. I found that the CISM training was most useful but the problem was that as we taught, individuals would be triggered to past experience and become most distressed. Some were overwhelmed, abreactive in fact.

As an ethical person I found it unacceptable to go in to a community, teach, trigger trauma and then have nothing to assist in returning someone to their previous level of functioning or better. I decided to quit teaching the CISM in native communities.

Then, serendipity.

I was in San Diego at a trauma conference and by chance sat next to Dr. Bob Bray. He asked me what I did and I told him the above story. He said why don’t you do TFT? I did not know of it so he explained. He convinced me to attend training he was doing in Montreal. I went and learned the Algorithm Level and of course was astounded. I now had a tool that I could use to help people through.

Subsequently, Dr. Callahan convinced me to take the Dx training as he said the native community also needs someone to teach TFT to them to have as a new tool in their toolboxes.

I have been using TFT regularly since. I have seen and experienced some of the most amazing results. I have hundreds of stories.

I will give you just a couple.

Trauma.

As a crisis responder, I was asked to put together a team to assist a remote village with a horrible loss. Two young men had gone out in the winter and gotten lost. The community organized a search and spent days combing the territory looking for the two teens. Unfortunately without success. In fact to this date they have not found any trace of the two children. The community of four hundred was devastated.

We went in to do CISM. In the process, I was asked if I could please spend some time one on one with Gloria. She had been the search master, who stayed back in the village and coordinated the search.

She came in escorted by her uncle. She explained to me that she was diabetic and that she had major vision loss as a result. She was practically blind in one eye and had only 40% vision in the other. We began with the search.

Her SUD was 10. Within minutes it was 0.

Fantastic, but we were peeling an onion. She then recalled that another uncle had suffered a similar experience to the boys when Gloria was 10. He fell overboard from a fishing boat and was never found. SUD again was a 10 and we were able to bring that down to 0.

Next layer was a memory of her being raped at the age of 13. As we solved each old trauma, another surfaced. She had the most extensive trauma history you can imagine and each event seemed to be covered and blocked by another.

Next she told me that her father had murdered her brother when she was nine and then completed suicide. He left a note saying he had killed both his children. Gloria was late home from school and that was what saved her.

Unfortunately she came home to discover the deaths.

In every case the SUD was 10 and in every case we got it to 0 using the complex trauma algorithm.

We did several other events including the trauma of having her daughter also suffer a rape. We worked together for almost two hours. At that point we were both exhausted and we agreed to come back together the next day for follow up. I told her I would go out and get her uncle to help her home. She said “I don’t need him, I can see just fine now”. I asked her to explain and she said that her eyesight prior to the search for the boys had been double what it was at the start of our session. 40% in the blind eye and close to 80% in the other.

She had been to the diabetes specialist and to an opthamologist who both told her the problem was not physical but most likely stress and there was nothing they could do. Well, TFT did it.

The next day she was still doing just fine with all the trauma issues and at a 0. Her vision had stayed up as well and following up with her months later all was still good. One of my most gratifying experiences.

Pain from fibromyalgia

I teach Algorithm classes all the time in American Indian communities. I was asked to do an awareness session at a Tribal Health conference. I went and did a ninety minute presentation on what TFT is and how it works.

Of course I mentioned the various areas that I have seen success in including trauma, phobia, anger, physical pain, guilt etc. At the end of the session, two ladies approached me and asked if I would spend some time with them and answer some questions. I agreed and we found an empty classroom to use. The two were sisters.

Mavis was suffering from overall body pain. She asked me if TFT would take away her pain. I explained that it works for many but there are no guarantees and since I knew nothing about fibromyalgia, I could make no promises. She wanted to go ahead upon hearing that the worst that could happen was nothing. I asked her about the pain and she rated it a 10 on SUDS. She also talked about the anxiety she had thinking about the constancy and permanency of it.

The SUD for anxiety was 10. I coupled the pain algorithm with the complex anxiety algorithm and we went to work.

After the first sequence, she reported the pain at a 10. We did the 9G and completed the algorithm and she was a 5. I asked if she wanted to continue and she was definite about her yes. We went through another complete algorithm and she was at 2. Correction for PR and another holon and she was at a 0.

As I said, I knew nothing about fibromyalgia and so my naivete showed through. I asked when the last time she was at a 0 and she said, eleven years ago. She wanted to know how long it would last and I told her I had no idea, minutes perhaps but possibly longer. I explained that I was as surprised as her that it had worked. Her sister was crying with joy at seeing Mavis pain free.

Mavis said how much do I owe you. I do not accept payment for TFT. Never have. That is because Dr. Callahan scholarshipped me for the Dx because he cared so much to get TFT into this cultural group.

Mavis really wanted to pay me so I said, “I’ll take a hug”. She hugged me and began to cry. I asked if the pain had returned.

She smiled and said “You don’t understand, I have eight grandchildren at home that I have never hugged because of my pain. I also have not been able to hug my husband for eleven years. I ‘m going home and hug them all”.

It was very emotional for me. And the two sisters.

The conference was three days and we had done the TFT on day one. Throughout the next two days Mavis would seek me out and ask how long it would last. I kept telling her I was astounded that it was holding.

On day three she asked me if she could go off her pain meds as they were making her feel goofy. I said no, no and no. You will have to see your doctor to do that.

I did not tell you that I had met Mavis previously in her home village at a training I did in CISM.

I was back there a year following the TFT session and Mavis showed up in my class. I asked why she was there as she had already had the class. She said she came to say thanks. Since the conference she was basically pain free.

She had seen her doctor and had been completely off medications for eight months. She told me she occasionally had some pain, but she just did the TFT algorithms that we had used and I had left with her, and it went away again.

Finally

I have taught TFT algorithms to over two hundred people in native communities. They range from psychologists to elders, social workers, addiction counselors, nurses, fire fighters, tribal police officers and community members and leaders. It is very well accepted and the requests keep coming for more training.

I was recently back in a community where I had done the training previously and again a lady showed up who had had the Algorithm course. She said she came back to refresh and practice. She told a wonderful story of a suicidal young man who she had done TFT with. He had come in depressed and traumatized and since they had no mental health facility the intake person had called for transport from the closest facility.

My student heard about him, went and did TFT and by the time the transport arrived he was calm, reasoned and eating a meal with some elders. The transport team had a mental health person and she examined the young man and declined to take him saying she could find no distress in him at all.

He is doing fine and now volunteers at the elder center and is back in school. Says he wants to be a social worker.

Thank you again Dr. Callahan.

TFT is amazing. It amazes me almost weekly. I will continue teaching it as long as I am able.

Your vision at giving me this opportunity has been realized in many native communities and the word spreads.

Your gift to all of us is truly wonderful. As a result of your scholarship, I have never accepted a single payment for TFT. I do get paid for teaching but I have made the commitment that since you gave it to me, it really is my privilege to pay it forward. I have used it thousands of times to help others. All that is due to you.

So the hug from Mavis belongs to you.

Thank you!

Be well in health and spirit
